I own a 96GT and was wondering what I could do to give my car a more vintage mustang look. Any suggestions? I know it's a kind of silly question but i love the design of the 05 mustang and was just curious what could be done to my body style to bring it back to that classic look. I've already thought about adding billet wheels for instance and possibly covers for the side scoops. I've also been wondering if there's a kit that makes the rear bumper appear more flat.

I think the 94-98 bodystyle is plenty retro as it is...your side scoops as is are very much in the vein of what was offered in 1966-67.

Ford used to make (and you still may be able to find) door "C" stripes for the 1994-98 Mustangs that were very similar to what was offered on 1967-68 GTs. Ford Racing used to carry them in a variety of colors; if I had a 1994-98, I'd get 'em myself.

It all depends though on which model's design cues you like. For instance, rear window louvers didn't come along until 1969-70.

I didnt even think about louvers, that's deffinantly old school. I'm actually surprised how much they cost (looks about $300).
And i found a place that sells C-stripe kits. Deffinantly elaborates the side scoops it looks like.

Thanks for all the replies folks. And since this is my first thread, thanks for making me feel welcome.
