No offence on the comps if they work for you. I just know of too many people who have had them that had piston to valve problems. I think there are even a few on here. My best is 14.014@98.96mph @ 5500 feet of corrected altitude. That equals a 12.9 at 106.82mph corrected . Go to modulardepot.com in their resources section in the sealevel et portion and put in your timeslip info and see what you come up with.

I wish I could actually race at sealevel . Just once to see what it could really do. I hate this stinking high altitude/desert racing. A 2000 LS1 Firebird with a Vortech Supercharger pushing 15+ PSI only runs 13.1 at our track. He comes from Calgary with his buddy in another bird. Sad . Stock 03 Cobra = 13.3.

Frankly, I think the Medicine Hat track beats the hell out of Calgary. I ran an 11.99 @ 115 there last year with my NA 351W coupe, and that was with a T5 and stock rear end except 3.73 gears. Elevation there is only about 2200 feet, which is about 1300 feet lower than Race City. Maybe the 13.1 LS1 guy should think about switching over to the blue oval ...

I agree 100%. The Med Hat track is ten times the track that race city is. That's why we get a regular contingent of cars from all over Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. The problem is the temperature with the track elevation. I lived in Calgary for 8 years and I have never seen a 40 degree day there. You were lucky to see a day or two above 30 in Calgary all summer. The biggest effect on et is temperature bar none. When your racing and there is no oxygen in the air it sucks. That's why i use the corrected altitude numbers on the time slip. It tells you what kind of conditions you are actually running in. People lie but the numbers don't. You should bring your car down here and show the Chevy loving folks what a real car can do . There is a guy here with a 393 in his 86GT that can really haul, I think he runs 11.5's. Pretty amazing out of a street car. Actually I think you must have tuned the car for him, I'm sure they said they went to techmotion. If you did, nice work . It moves.

Yeah I tuned Fudge's car. It's pretty awesome isn't it? I like the track down there, but I have been having some difficulty scheduling a weekend to come. I seem to end up running dyno days on the weekends that I should be in Medicine Hat. Bud Park in Edmonton is a really nice track too, and pretty similar to Medicine Hat in terms of elevation.

Maybe I'll see you down there yet this season.
