accually these are for my car... i am getting GP on rotors and i am getting for $75 for the fronts.

i am getting slotted for sure....no crossed drilled cause they crack at the track...just wanted to know it the dimples do anything good?

the slotted and slotted with dimples are the same price

Just get slotted. Powerslot's are good. Keep it simple. Why go nuts over your brakes? You tracking your npi 98 gt?

w/ a 302 stroker and N2O... Powerslots are nice, but I went with Brembo blanks for $40/ea (stock replacement). Unless you are using racing pads, cross drilled would be pretty pointless. the holes are used to vent gas escaping from the pads and maintain constant contact under heavy braking. In fact, if you bought drilled rotors and did not use race pads, your brakes wouldn't be as effective as they would be with a solid face rotor, mostly due to the excellent heat transfer of a solid vented rotor. Wow I said "rotor" way too many times in that sentence

like i said again... i have had pi everything since i bought the car.....a dealership did the swap in 2001 because previous owner cracked the manifold and the dealership in chicago offered to do pi swap everything and he excepted and pay the extra cash... i confirmed this with the original owner with the work order.

i took it off my sig to fit the vaporized headlights quote :D

anyways i go the track days alot and had slotted rotors with hawk pads on stock brakes.... they were OK and i wanted to wear them down before i put new brakes on....now its time to get new brakes.

I am getting slotted for sure because under heavy use the crossed drilled holes will crack (i have seen this happen a the track....its funny) so i am still trying to decide if the dipples would be cool to get....they do cost anymore to get.

If you really plan on being serious about tracking your car, don't fool around with slots and dimples or any of that.

Just run the Brembo blanks.

A lot of guys i know who track their cars run the fancy slotted or crossdrilled rotors on the street, but then swap to Hawk racing pads and the above Brembo blanks for the track.

When you get your brakes smoking hot, you want every little bit of mass the rotor has to dissapate heat.
