I've done decided the car is getting the gas this winter, probably around christmas time. Not sure whether I should run wet or dry, what would be best? The car has 24lb injectors with a 190 fuel pump for fuel mods, then a 10:1 comp 306 with h/c/i. I plan to start out with a 50 shot and would like 150 on tap. My goal is to push roll cage territory this spring with the help of SFC's and tires. What would be the best kit for the money? I know I'll need a kit, bottle heater, purge, some gauges, wot switch, and probably a window switch as well. Will that about cover it, or will the fuel system need some more work?

As for timing, what would be best? Right now the car sits at 20* timing. Drop it back to stock and bump it a couple degrees at a time with the bottle?

Thanks.

I like the simplicity of the Zex kit, I would also recommend using regular old Autolite 3923 plugs and setting your timing to 8 degrees base. Everything else sounds good and will prolly be a real fun car with a 100 shot!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch. Didn't know the timing needed to go back that much. Something like that would be nice to have a tweecer for.

Theres a guy local to me with a new zex kit with purge kit, pressure gauge, and something else can't remember but all I would need is a bottle heater and some jets to change it over for a v8 motor according to the zex people for 350 bucks. I believe I'm gonna jump on it. Would the zex people be correct the only thing being needed to change it over from a 4/6 kit to a v8? It's an efi kit also.

I would start at stock timing 10* for a 50/100 shooter, I believe 8* is quite a bit too much timing retard, Best thing to do is run it stock and study spark plugs after see whats happening.
