What made you decide on the 58cc chambers to use with the s trim?

Exactly my thought... compression will be fairly high... Granted not entirely so high boost is impossible.. but definetly higher than what I would want to drive around with.

i went with the 58cc because at the time, i had no intentions on getting a sc. afr says that would give me a ~9.6:1 but with the thicker header gasket im running its probably 9.5:1 max so i dont think the compression is bad...besides, thats what methanol is for

expensive stuff
I would say right around 380whp but torque is where it will shine 420wtq.

The only different things on your combo than mine is I have stock ported heads (also 58cc ), SC-Trim, and 5-speed. I made 405rwhp @10psi so I would hope with your meth, S-Trim, and AFR165's that you should eclipse the 400rwhp mark very easily. I'm gonna go with 435rwhp 416 lb-ft/tq.

The BIG difference is the AOD and converter. Dyno numbers will never show the true potential any AOD with a conveter will ever have. Maybe much lower nmbers than your car, BUT it may just be MUCH faster

i think curse is going to be near dead on.
ive dynoed 403rwhp before the power pipe, methanol and edge racing converter with an afr of 10.5:1

My guess was without the methanol injection, if your tuner knows how to use the stuff then the numbers are going to be a lot higher.

im my tuner lol. i have a pms, im just using the dyno to dial in my tune since its safer then flooring it on the freeway and ill be able to dial in timing easier. that way i can see at what point adding more timing stops being beneficial so that i run the minimum timing needed

plan to start off with 25* timing but make my way to 30* at least and possibly a couple more. afm recomends 9-15* more timing with their meth kit over what it would run without it. and 25* is pretty normal for 10-11psi of boost

geez sounds like you are going to have a killer set up when you are done. BTW is that meth kit always flowing or is it a on off type thing? if it is a on off do you have a retard to take out 9-15 degrees of timing when it is off?

the methanol sprays when under boost. the more psi your pushing, the more methanol it injects and as soon as you let off the gas it stops flowing.

i dont boost a whole lot on the street so im not real concerned with having a non-methanol tune but ill probably make one some where down the road. but since i rarely boost on the street im not worried about running out. and the few times i have floored it on the street, the first thing i do when i get home is refill the bottle even though its still 90% full

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=5/13818033986.jpg&s=f5

the numbers as you can see are 407rwhp and 417rwtq. picked up 4hp and 17tq. but as you can see the afr is way off and the hp numbers shows something screwy happening at 5000rpms but because the afr was off the chart we dont know what happened. more then likely a rich spike.

the cars last run, i had -34% fuel entered in the pms which means i was only running 66% of the fuel the stock computer was programmed to run at wot. my firt that was "WFT!!!!" with a sc running that low of fuel and still off the chart rich. dyno tuner said it sounds like the maf might be screwing me but hes not sure how the pms works so i called rick anderson while i was still at the shop. the very first thing he said when i described the problem was bad maf. said thats it for sure and since i did buy the maf used, i guess im buying a new one in the next couple days. but on the plus side, look at it this way...407rwhp and 417rwtq from the stock block, cam and all internals, on 10.2psi of boost, with an afr off the chart rich and only 27* total timing (should be more like 32-35* with the methanol) through an AOD transmission. not bad i suppose

also, all the runs were back to back. i made 6 runs in less then an hour so there was no time for the intake to cool down. we iced it once but it was on the 3rd run and thats not on this graph.
