Going to the JY in the morning! Need info

The starter on my 93 went south last week so i need another one but have limited funds. what other ford vehicles use the same starter or what will work? they only have 2 stangs down there and there both stripped. thanks in advance

Quite a few.

Go here: http://www.car-part.com/ and select a starter for a '93 Mustang V8. It'll list all the interchangable parts from other cars. Cougars, TBirds, Crown Vics, and trucks from a quick glance...from varying years.

Early 90's f150's with 5.0's will have the starter for you, i got my new one from one with an auto trans and it firts my t5 perfectly.

ok the jy here in town have these which would be better? theyve got a 90 town car, 93 cougar, 95 stang, 91 cougar and a 89 thunderbird. any of these have the mini starter?

I think the auto's are different than the manual (at least for the trucks). They will look the same but one engages further and it will screw your flywheel my friend learned that the hard way

the only 5 speed they have is the thunderbird which is the s/c 3.8. so that one will work?
