Hey guys I'm going to the track on Wednesday.. any pointers? My GT is Automatic so mainly my question is pointed towards this... will my sub box make a huge difference in my times? It weighs about 100-200 lbs and I've asked a couple others and they said it might help me connect on the track better and not spin out. Any one here run the track with a sub box in the back? Thanks guys!

Which track? Where are you located? some people are saying to lighten up the car as much as possible. But I think if you lighten up to much it's going to hurt traction. I'd keep the sub in just don't over do the weight. I'm sure if you started putting in bags of sand after a certain amount it's going to slow you down.

100 - 200 lbs? In an automatic? Awww, man, I'd get that thing outta there if I were you. Yank the spare tire while you're back there. Sooner or later you'll have to learn to control the traction without loading up the trunk with weight. Better to learn now...
