I will be going in about a month. I am wondering what mod I should buy for around $200? that will really help. I am stock, with a K&N drop in filter and removed silencer, Pro5.0shifter and King Cobra clutch, with 275s on the rear. What one thing should I buy? Any tips? First time to the track with the Stang.

a pair of drag radials for your rear end! okay so $200 probably won't get you there, but thats my #1 recommendation

for $200 you wont get much. save up and get some gears. your car will be around a mid 14 sec run if i had to guess.

I guess I am thinking something I could bolt on in a day. Price is up or down, doesnt matter too much. I was kicking around an O/R Prochamber, think that would help with a stock setup?

^ YES...it will help ALOT! You will need some MIL eliminators. I suggest you go to www.mustangtuning.com and get the plug and plays for $60...unless your comfortable splicing wires and buy the ones from www.ponyexpress.com .

O/R mid pips make a BIG BIG difference....one of the best things I did early on.

These X pipes are VERY good...you should consider one

Not to hijack, but will I feel a difference going from a bassani catted x to a mac o/r h? I know there will most certainly be a huge sound difference, but will I feel a slight kick in the pants too? o/r h should be on saturday morning

To the original poster, I'd say for $200, you really wont find something better than throwing on an o/r mid pipe. You should see a nice sound volume increase as well.
