Ok, well this weekend im gonna be doing a test fitment of the upper and lower 5.0 intakes on my 68 302. Anything i should look for when i fit them on? I want to make sure that it fits. Im gonna be using a A9P computer with the motor, is that computer alright? The guy that sold it to me said it could work with auto's and manuals.

theres no reason for the intakes not to fit, unless the heads or block have been milled down alot. I always get the computers backwards, but I think the A9P works both ways. It might be the A9L though....

A9L is the 5 speed computer and A9P is the auto. The A9P has the input for "Drive" detection to raise the RPM's of the motor.

Yes, you can use the A9P... it just has the extra input for the auto... works fine for a stick since it doesnt need it.

The only thing else I would add would be valve covers and shock tower braces. I don't think either will fit as is without mods.

Did it this afternoon! Looks real good, everything fits, except the oil fill part on the valve cover...i got 5.0 valve covers to put on anyway, so its not a problem...Also checked the distributor, fits real good, it looked amazing in there.....pics to follow!

Ok, im looking at the fordfuelinjection wiring harness and the one from Mustangs plus. Would you guys reccommend the one from mustangs plus. It looks easy to hook up, but the price is kinda up there. Is it worth the 849.99?

Ouch.. I'm sure the aftermarket units make things easier but I just couldn't see spending that kind of money.

I ended up getting one on ebay for $85, great shape. I unwrapped it and checked it since it needed re-wrapping anhow.

Looks like you'll still have to get the "engine harness" that has the injectors, etc on it unless you've already picked one up. And then there is the O2 sensor harness.. seems like it never ends.

I'm keeping my battery in the trunk so all the power connecst need to be re-wired anyhow.

Remember to post pics of the fit! .. I've been wanting to drop in my mocked up engine just to see how it looks myself.. lol.

Im just trying to decide which harness to go with, the RJM injection harness or the Mustangs plus harness.....that will make the job WAY more easier.
