I'll be getting an '88 LX hatch here in the next few months. Bone stock, been in the family for a long time. She's still got her factory 10 hole aluminum wheels, which I gotta say, I think are the some of the ugliest rims I've ever seen. I'm really liking the look of GT500 style that some of the guys in this thread have, but I'm wondering how well they fit. I get the feeling that they'd rub like hell at 17x9 as opposed to the 15x7 factory wheels.
I wouldn't go as far to say that 10 holes are the ugliest, but I do like my Welds. With that said, almost ever wheel that has been posted looks fine and adds class to your ride. To all who have posted
I'm gonna have to vote for the replica Saleen SC wheel's. In my opinion they're great looking wheels, and they're one of the few 4-lug wheels I have been able to find that come in 17x8, the size I want. Only problem I'm having is whether to get black or silver.
I have a set of 4-lug MSW sportlines that i think look pretty good. They are no longer made though. There are no exposed lugs so thats probably why they look good. Check them out at post number 60 in the link below
