i have a red top optima in my car that is completely dead and will not take a charge. i'm looking to get a new battery that will hold a charge for a while b/c i only drive my car once or twice a month.
you can hardwire it to your battery and just plug it in when you know the car wont be used for a while. It has a quick disconnect type thingy. when it detects the batterys charge dropped below 12v it charges it back up to 13v. i put it on my battery over the winter while its in storage
