I am a norwegian, and way back when I was a kid a Manta was considered, by those who didnt know better, a fairly hot car BECAUSE WE COULDN'T AFFORD anything like a Mustang!

Jeezus... why would anyone buy a Manta when you can pick and choose from an abundancy of rwd cars with a proper V8 for next to nothing?

Now if you are dead set on a european 4 cyl performance car at least go for something like a Ford Sierra Cosworth or an Escort Cosworth - but not a Manta. Its a GM product anyway, and not a good one - though I suppose some may say its good looking in a way. Well, it isn't. And its slow as hell.
Actually i dont drink!But i do inhale so wounderfull chemicals all day long at work.John are you bringing the coupe to HP tomorrow?Ok well not 1 person 
can agree with me on this so i'll keep the coupe.BUT i am looking for something else,i've had it for 6 years and bored of it.Now i'm ready to take it from what i'm about to say.......i was gonna do a motor/trans swap if i got the manta 
Also growing up we had a variety of opels.67 kadet68,69,70 GT 71,72,74,75,77 mantas,and 77 wagon. peace
