Good Cloth Upholstery Cleaner??

Im looking for a good cleaner to get some stains out of cloth seats. Anyone have any good ideas? Thanks

Simple Green and a stiff brush worked great for mine. My seats look brand new.

some washing detergent works great as well, works good on the vinal and everything just scrub in and rub out with a cloth towel

When I worked at a detail shop we used the cans of foam for stuff that needs to be dry quickly, like a customer waiting for their car. So if your gonna drive it soon after I'd use that.

When doing cars for the dealership the foam didn't deep clean or remove all the crap to get the cloth feeling fresh and clean. I used a solution of all purpose cleaner(simple green, castrol superclean, etc are APC's) The cleaner I used was from a pro company ardex. Mix that to whatever the container recommends in a bucket with warm water and a scoop of oxyclean. Works great of everything inside the car except glass and instrument panel.

I use woolite and oxyclean now when I clean my cars. Seems to be less harsh on everything, but still does a good job.

Using the Simple Green on the cloth wont just trap the stain in seeing you cant rinse the material good? And where can you get the Oxyclean from? I've only seen it advertised on TV.

I got mine from a drug store, Eckerd. You should be able to find it at any supermarket or drug store.

Does soaking it up with just a towel get the stain out without rinsing it?

You don't have to rinse but you can wipe it with a wet towel to get some of the residue feel away from the fabric if it bothers you.

just rent a carpet shampooer/vacuum thing from home depot. it's like $25 for the day and it will remove the stains

if you want to get it done cheap and fast, no ****ing around. take them to the car wash, no bull ****ting.

I did it to my seats, took the degreaser and soaped and rinsed the **** out of them, cam out looking new , not a spot on the seat. Be sure to let them dry on a nice sunny day, start early and let them dry all day.

my seats were pretty filthy and i took then to the wash, and while they were drying i took the day to detail the car, took the console out and degreased the carpet and cleaned the piss out of it. Looked like new when it was all said and done.

I removed the seats and took off the factory covers and threw them in the washing machine looks like new. I want to put some black racing seats in this summer.

Was it hard to just take the factory seat covers off and not ruin them?

I have that Armor-All Oxi Clean and it works pretty good. I also will use a household carpet cleaner on the seats and carpet.

I think all cleaners work about the same. The key is expecting to make multiple passes on the seats. I sparyed my seats about 10 times before they were clean, the foam cleaner pulls dirt up and out so you have to clean them multiple times. Just my 2 cents.

I used castrol super clean and oxyclean. Mixed them with warm water and scrubed them with a brush and then used a shop vac to suck it all up. Works better I thought w/ the shop vac cause it doesn't smear anything around, just pulls it up.

I use Tuff Stuff foam. You can buy it at Wal-Mart and I haven't had a stain yet that it wouldn't get out.

i agree with using tuff stuff. i have used that on all my cars and you would never beleive what comes off the seats.
