I am going to try the Summit brand coil packs. $269 for a full set of 8.

I had a buddy that ran the Accels when they first came out and they gave him problems. He sent them back for a fresh set and he still wasn't satisfied.

I would buy Motorcrafts again but they must think they are made of gold because the dealership charges $90 PER COIL and the parts stores want at least $60-65 per coil.

Unless you're pushing some hardcore HP numbers the stock coils are more than good enough.

The one and onyl thing I have considered is the better boots with the braided conductor in them. The can be put on the OEM coils and might be better than the OEM spring setup

Stock, Ive had coil packs dry rotted from age and engine cleaning on my 99. Had a misfire w/o throwing a code, changed plugs no help and I bought some used COP's from a bullit on ebay that were in great shape and have not had any problems since.

To the point anyway if youre not having any issues leave it the fack alone.
