I have a bullet racing 347 that I topped off with some track heat heads a trick flow cam plus lifters push rods 1.6 rockers a track heat intake. 70 mm body with matching egr. BBk cold air intake. msd6al with blaster coil along with billet distributor. I believe it is a 76 mm mass air(C&L) and a set of motorsports 24 lbs injectors. I am running a edelbrock 255 lph pump. (93 gt computer) you think this is a good combo. My problems are all the lights are on inside as far as checking everythning. I Am now running manual oil and coolant temp guages. Could the fact that they are not working(the stock guages) Be the reason those lights are coming on? I am having cold start issues. When the motor is warm it starts every time. I had a vacuum leak but fixed that and it is the same. Timing it set at 14 with stout out. Fuel pressure is a little over 40. When it starts up cold I have to help it stay running and it stumbles. Once it is warm it screams when I hit the gas. But not when cold. This is about the last of my problem besides a mysterious coolant leak I still need to find.

I have the exact same cold start issues, it stumbles on cold starts, like itll fire up and and the rpms will drop and itll just die. Also until it warms up it feels real slow, then as soon as it warms up it runs like a bat outa hell.. cant seem to figure my **** out either

Your cold start problem is a LEAN problem. I had that problem with both my 302 and my 347 with my 30's and pro m 80mm. I had to add a bunch of fuel in the cold compensation menu in my PMS. I added like +30 - +40 (depending upon weather) and it was 100% perfect

There has to be another way around this. What programmer did you use? I havent had this problem in the past with ither mild build ups or crate swaps. It does run very well once it is warm. It does sound right though. How rough of an idle did your 347 have? How smooth will it run. It has a very lumpy idle. I now the engine will shake a bit.

If its a lean condition why would my car smell like gas real bad on start ups, and if i drive it before it warms up it also kind of bucks under 1300 like its running rich. my gas mileage also sucks, i think i need new 02s
