I just won an auction for a 351 stroked out to a 418.. It is not only stroked but it comes with a blower. I talked to the owner on the phone an it was in his wifes car for about 200 miles and they decided it was just to much power and are going back to a 351.

Everything is 200 miles old except for like valve covers and some other little stuff.

It has a TFS R intake,
Trickflow ported heads,
im not sure what the blower is but its newly rebuilt.
Forged crank
Forged h-beam rods
hyp. pistons 10:1? why hyp and why so high of compression?
block was a '69 351 block with was gone thru. It was line bored and
decked and it was deck plate bored and honed. Rods have full floating
wrist pins. It has been balanced and blueprinted, all machine work was done by hawaii Racing
x- cam
1.6 svo rr's
svo 42 lb injectors
75mm tb
80mm maf (not sure on which brand)

And it comes with AC, alt., starter, oil pan, etc.

The guys who tuned the car said that at the flywheel it should be about 775 hp.

Was this a good buy for $5,000. Proffessionally built with only 200 miles in a street car!!!

Wow. Very nice purchase. I think the price is very reasonable and that you got it for a good deal. Good luck with the installation and have fun never getting traction........

Check the fine print.
It's 418 Cubic Centimeters! (kidding)

Gonna need 116 octane on that bad boy. Without support on the bottom end I would expect block ventilation (yikes).

Nice buy. Have fun.
