I came across a 1995 GT today automatic trans. unfortuneately. Car has 105000 miles new brakes rotors and calipers. Gutted cats for a strange sound, welded in flows, nice grey leather interior. Sounds different than my 4.6 does, hear more cam, why???? Want 4500 plus tax for the car. The overall condition would be an 8 on a 10 scale for age of car....

That isn't too bad if it is in good shape. I think 5.0's are louder because they are a pushrod design. I'd maybe try and talk em' down to 3800 ish, maybe. See if you can compromise in between.
