Anyone know the name of and where to get a decent photoshop program that is FREE ...Just enough to cut and paste images, add text and maybe do some special effects.

you can get PS free lol just download it off of like limewire or something

Gimp is supposed to be the photoshop alternative, but I've never used it.

You can also buy Photoshop Elements which I think is just a partially crippled version of PS and a lot cheaper. Of course you can also download it via bittorent which is my favorite since file sharing programs suck.

anything is free if you know where to get....stuff falls off the backs of trucks everyday...

photoshop is free for a trial period. download it and get all the updates and then get a crack for it. i know a guy who knows a guy that has a friend of a friend of a friend who has a cousin that may be able to hook u up.

I use Gimpshop, which is basically Gimp "hacked" to look more like photoshop. IMO, its a little easier to use than regular Gimp. I don't think it can do as much as photoshop, but it is a good free alternative.

I just downloaded ps 7.0 on limewire about an hour ago and now I just need to figure out how to use it.

Caldwell should make a tutorial for ps just like final5.0 did for tuning.

yup thats it. I used use kazaa and winmx and napster. So far i like limewire the best. You can download music, programs, pics, videos, **** I don't do the last one lol. All without having that extra junk put on your computer. I will say downloading a program make sure you run a virus scan because I have dowloaded a few that were viruses.
