good place for convertible parts?

just picked up an 87 gt convertible. i need a j-hook for the top on the driver side. ive tried every junk yard in 100 miles ford no longer carries it. any advice? id sure hate to lose the top while driving

Are you referring to the upper & lower column covers or the one piece snap together circular trim?

Like that, but I need upper/lower for an 87 with tilt. I also need the panel under the column, I think its called a knee guard or something like that, but I can't find it either.

Well, the column covers will be ready to ship in a couple of weeks.

The lower dash panel will still need to be sourced used.

That's good news, I am having a hard time finding the column covers. As for the knee panel, I can find them, but most of them have broken tabs and what not.

You can add a headliner kit. It is not a direct fit, but with the addition of snaps or velcro it will go right in.
