Good Price on a 99-00 gt

hey guys, im thinking about buying a new mustang, im thinking about getting a 99-00 gt. what's a good price to pay on one with decent miles, leather and a 5spd? thanks in advance!

Maybe 11K - 13K with decent miles. Why 99-00 only. Why not 01-03. I have the 2000 and wished I had gotten an 01-03. I like the hood scoop and side scoop that comes on those years. Although I did put on the hood and side scoops but still wished I had a newer year.

cool, cause ive been finding some for 9000, 99's and 2000's. As for getting something newer than that, i cant aford to have the cobra and a brand new gt. thanks for the input!

i got my 00GT w/ 32K miles, premium interior, and every option possible for 13,500 including TT&L that was last may!!

I bought my 2000 GT Vert, loaded (5 speed) last July for $15,400 with 37,000 miles.

Incidently, it has the '01 Hood and side scoops. Previous owner put them on.

99 and 00 are better if you wanna crank up the boost when SC..lower compression than the years after..u can squeeze couple more HP/TQ on those blocks..

I got a 99 gt convertible with currently 13,800 original miles. Garage kept for sale if interested. All mods are in signature and has side scoops and hood scoops just as the new ones.

I heard the transmission on the 99-00 is better than the 01-03. Don't know about the 04's.

All in all, my stang has a little over 50K and it's still running strong. No problems yet. Knock on wood. Although I do keep the maintenance up. (oil, filter, plugs) Do that, you'll never run into any problems.

I paid 12,500 in feb of this year for my car w/24k miles, leather, 5spd, its silver 00GT w/black leather

it was like 14280 after all the b.s.

I agree with everyone on here sofar, 12K is pretty much the price point for a 99 or 00 with under 35k miles on it. Also, you dont want a 01+ because of the T3650 slushbox.

Another thing to consider is this- for another 3 grand or so, you could get a 99 cobra. Just an idea

I disagree, I could not find a cobra(99up) or an ls1 under about 18k(I admit I should have spent more time/seriousness looking at fbods)
