Decided to pic up one the other day and give it a try on the 8 year old Welds.

So far very durable except where it went across my rim screws on the rears and then it only tore pea size chunks out of it. Still plenty of material left.

you shouldnt have to polish clear coated wheels,and it MIGHT eat through the clear coat,so i wouldnt do it.
