Good Rockers?

im puggting together my stock shortblock with TFS stage 1 cam and gt 40 p heads... i was wondering what would be a good rocker to go with for this ecombo for the money? also specs on this cam are .499-.510... what would 1.7s bring this up to??? thanks!

I got Comp Pro Magnum 1.6 ratio, you better check P/V clearance if you use 1.7 ratio

Good rockers are ones that aren't bad...

.510/1.6=0.31875

0.31875*1.7=.541875 lift. This is over the supposed threshold of .544" of lift before contact. You need to clay that motor with 1.7's to make sure they will clear.

well i have just put 2 sets on a stock short block with the tfs 1 cam in the past month and have had no trouble at all.

Unless the P's are ported for additional airflow at higher lift you may not benefit much from the additional lift you get from 1.7's vs. 1.6's with that cam.
