I am looking for comfortable nice looking seats for my 88 LX, I like the black look, but I do have blue interior. I recently hurt my back/shoulder from the stock seats, slamming gears to hard kills me! So I really don't want to drive it much until I get better seats. Any opinions? I like the Corbeau Legacy Blue & black........

Corbeau GTSII is nice and looks fairly at home in a fox.

I'm interested as well, being that I am 6,2 I need seats that sit at the stock height, and would love to upgrade my seats.

I put 2002 GT seats in my 88 convertible and they sat higher. I'm 6'4" and hated them for about 3 years. I recently put in the scat procar "elite" seats from Summit. They are black cloth and very comfortable. They don't look like race seats. They actually go back farther than the stock seats did which gives me more legroom (I had to get a longer shifter stalk because I would have to lean forward for 3rd gear). The only problem is that when you work the lever to put the seatback forward, it doesn't remember where it was. I deleted my backseat anyway. In front of the seat, the bracket is visible if you put the seat all the way back.

If he's 6'1" he'll hit his head in a fox with those seats if he doesn't have a sunroof. I have to constantly lean to the side to see traffic lights

look and feel good, but need to be lower

I need to get pics up soon I know. I have the flofits from seat source and love them. they install and factory seat hight and are really comfortable. they have the pull out knee adjusters like the stock sports seats, you can get the rear seat fabric to match them up. having been in the saleens they have the belongs in a mustang feel. they prices are not that bad for what the quality of the seat.

link.

I just bought Corbeau GTS II's but have yet to install them because I'm doing a black interior swap this winter.

If interested in a pair of 99 35th anniversary Mustang leather seats send me a pm.

We really like our Arizen Racing seats, and I wanted the back seat matching so that was why I went with them. They are extremely comfortable, and if I would have used Arizens brackets the seats would have been really low, so I fabbed up my own brackets so we would sit higher. Maybe the Arizen brackets would be a good thing for tall people, also you can get them in different widths now. Mark @Arizen is really great to work with too. We have had them in the car for two years now and like 15K miles of ride time they are holding up well.

Just a Google away:

http://www.arizenracingsports.com/

I have heard lots of good stuff about their products as well. Though I am not fond of the big wide upper part of the seats, in a street car it looks ricey IMO.

Hell... I'd just like to find a nice set of gray tweed covers for my seat. Perhaps a little extra padding in the lumbar arear of the drive and pass seat.

That's what I'm thinking but my car had the "leather" option.

My brother has a 94 gt with the black interior. His seats are extremely comfortable...and they will sit nice and low in a fox. If i could i'd steal them from him. I'm beginning to hate how the stock worn out seats feel. They almost make it uncomfortable to drive the car.

50resto sells seat covers in cloth, tweed, leather, and vinyl. They sell the foam now too.
