good suspension combo?

Im thinking of getting coil overs and a tubular k, along with upper/lowers along with some 4.10's and et streets, these damn ls1 guys running thier mouths around town's getting me pissed and I want to absolutely rape them out of the hole. They are only taking me by around 3 cars, and they usually take me 4 out of the hole..

I have old toyo's at the second with 4 banger springs in the front with very soft struts, the rear suspension is stock with 4 banger shocks. it hooks decent when I have good tires, however pretty much all I run is on the street becasue its the only car I have right now, and I want it to hook and leave hard!! We have a "closed course" witch hooks pretty decent.

so what would be a good combo for the suspension to dead hook at about 3k-4k on the street? Im only around 260-270hp maybe. So?

I know aliate x was doin good with some etstreets, i dont care I would ride on striaght slicks if I could lol...

Check out the MMR coilover kit on Corral right now for $149, hard to beat for such a quality product.

Et Street Radials = badass tires, I would buy the radials over the bias plys personally. Some people like the bias plys becuase they are able to take the "shock" of a manual car a little better but both will work amazingly well. Good luck.

Tubular k memeber, a arms coil overs, strange adjustables front and back, adjustable upper control arms and a antiroll bar. That has been proven to do some sick 60's. That what I'll be doing in a few months. Check out Team Z's K member kits, AJE is nice also and I know a few people that run UPR K members and love them.

E/T streets. M/T's hook hard. My buddy is cutting 1.5's with them.

oh I know. One of my friends has them and pulls the tires 2 feet in the air at the track with a 408w.

I know they are awesome, I just need to get em lol...

They are badass. I need to get some. My other friend but them in 15" for his welds....then sold them, got 17X9 03 Cobras with Goodyears...immediatley took those off for some 17" M/T's. He loves those tires. Search on craigslist. He found a pair with 3 passes on them (still like new) for 250. New are over 400.

yeah my buddy has a storage unit packed to the ceiling with them, all are used but they only have like 10 passes on em, and I think I could get a set for like free-$100

he pulls the tires with the radials, the et drags he ran a couple times and broke the diff, so he went to a spool lol..

Hell yeah, 100 bucks would be a steal. A guy has 4 by me and wants 400. I just want a friend to go in half with me so we can each have a pair. No bites....I still have to check with one more friend though.

you do need upper and lower control arms help mine hook and subframes help a little bit. i went with the steeda sport springs and shock/strut set up.

sorry to jack, but this is my next mod as well i'm just looking to get some traction out of first and 2nd again hehehe.....

someone was telling me about a kit that angles the pinion down? im sorry but i really don't know much about suspension. I figure something like that,some lowering springs on good new shocks and struts with some sub frame connectors would be a good start for me??

You get adjustable control arms to adjust the pinion angle. Get the parts I suggested, you WONT have a problem hooking then.
