That kit is very labor intensive. You need to have lots of tools, a lift, a welder, and lots of time/know-how to install that kit yourself. If you don't, and have to pay someone to install it, plan on at least doubling the total cost.

Exactly. Also the On3 kit comes with very basic components. If I were ever to install a turbo, I certainly would buy a much better waste gate and BOV than is included in the On3 kit.

To the OP, honestly, if you want cheap effective power, you can't beat a wet nitrous kit. You can get a good quality kit with ALL of the safety features for less than $1000. You can make 350 rwhp pretty easily/safely with a kit like that, and I'd put money on it that you'd be more than happy with 350 rwhp for a good while.

Yep. Hard to beat the bang for the buck of NO2. If you're convinced in going FI, then look at a Vortech kit. They're very reasonably priced IMO.

I put a Vortech on my car for just about $2500 installed and tuned. I bought a kit off a Bullitt and had to get swap parts for my GT and certain little things, like a Focus pump, new belt, and any little maintenance items needed for install, plus boost/oil pressure gauges and I later added a wideband. Sold the Bullitt items and made a few bucks back. Car put down 380/378 with some COP's going bad. My suggestion is find a used Vortech kit, then get yourself some good camshafts and valvesprings and make sure you run either a powerpipe or catless exhaust and you will see 400rwhp. But this will put you at close to $4000 installed and tuned.

The On3 kit is for the budget minded builder, but you can't argue with the numbers. Even their standard turbos that come with the kits are holding together well and making respectable numbers.

They've done a bit of R&D since they've rolled out the kits and continually made future kits better based upon customer experience. They're about to put out a forward facing header kit that makes a little more peak HP at the same level of boost as their regular kit, but makes a whole lot more power everywhere else under the curve.

Granted it's not as easy of an install as some of the $5-6k kits, but that's why you can have one to your door for probably right around $2k.
