Long story short, I was out driving and a deer walked into the street. My instincts told me to avoid the deer so I swerved and put it into a tree.

RIP Mustang 4/5/04 - 7/24/08.
It had all of 30k on it and it's such a shame. But I'll tell myself I'm glad to be alive.

Holy Crap! You are very lucky not to be seriously injured, but who knows may have been worse if you did hit the deer. Cars are replaceable, keep telling yourself that.

I don't know. I guess God wanted me to live lol.

Yeah they have the tread pattern of a Kumho 712 but these are actually Yokohama avs100s.

I fully agree. I walked out with just air bag burns and a sore left knee. (I had the clutch pedal floored upon impact. I guess it was an instinct to keep the engine from stalling)

So this car is totalled right?

Doi! My bro has AVS100's and I used to have 712's - i mixed em up. Those are good tires, they recently got replaced by the Yokohama S.Drive's tho. Supposed to be a bit better all around and now has 300 tread wear instead of the AVS' 280. Not nearly as good looking tho

Man I am glad you are allright.

That looks really nasty.

If you have a good insurance plan you will be able to replace it. The same cannot be said for yourself.

Nah..That'll buff right out.

There's not much threat of hitting a deer out here, but when I lived in NY, I saw them make a mess of several cars. As much damage as they cause, I think the tree was worse I'm sure the deer appreciates it though.

Seriously, glad you're okay.

haha, that'd be nice.
But I've gotten pretty sentimental with this car and I think I wanna find another 2v and make a clone.

Yeah that's what the tow truck driver said.

My girlfriend's parents happened to drive through the crash site and they said they also saw a deer. It was probably the same god damn one lol.
