Mach 1 chin spoiler
Mach 1 grill delete kit (3 piece)
8 inch antenna
above from american muscle

2 cans of spray tint (same stuff as on american muscle, but bought on eBay for less than half the price)

Honeycomb trim for the trunk (spoiler is coming off)
Blacked out LED third tail light (same item as on american muscle, bought on eBay for 1/3 the price)

Pulled off the GT badges today, airbrushed flat black on the GT and on the outside area, Zinc Yellow to match the car. Followed up with multiple clear coats.

I have zero exterior mods, only painted calipers, so this should spruce up the exterior tastefully.

Right GT badge and rear GT badge have been clearcoated, the left badge needed a re-sand from some a bizzare spot that pitted after drying. Will have pics up of the finished product in the morning - looks pretty cool, surprised some company doesn't offer these already.

Not to toot my own horn - but I think it turned out really nice.
In case anyone is interested in the process.
Pulled badges with hair dryer and spatula. Lightly sanded, followed by isopropyl scrub (helped get the remaining sticky tape off as well). Four coats of flat black from the hobby shop. Then covered entire badge in blue painters tape. Took a straight razor blade and gently sliced around the G and the T, so that the G and T were still covered with the blue painters tape. Used my bottle of Zinc Yellow touch up paint to feed the air brush (actually sprayed well considering it wasn't designed for that) and applied four thick coats. Removed paints tape (pictures several posts above were taken after tape removal. Spray with a very very light coat of clear gloss, then four coats of clear. Prep surface on car with goo gone and then rubbing alcohol. Apply double sided 3M EXTERIOR TRIM tape to entire back side of badge, trimming outer edges with razor blade. Make sure no bubbles underneath tape - peel back the red backing on tape and apply firmly to car.
Will also be giving similar treatment to the pony on front of car once the grill delete shows up.

Yeah the headlights are definitely blacked out, I've got a set of VVME 4400K HID lights on the way to shine through. The stock bulbs are now less effective than the foglights haha. I would love some black Saleens, but it seems like everyone only makes them in 18". Definitely want a different hood, I'm not a big fan of the non-functional hood scoop.

i'll take that non functional hood scoop off your hands if you ever get a new hood :) nice job on the badges man, looks great! Love the chin spoiler and headlights too... can't wait to see the pics of the honeycomb panel :nice:
