Well I decided to put a Gords Heat Exchanger with fans in my car before the Kenne Belle gets installed. The install was a pain in the A$$ but the results were well worth it. The fans that come on the unit are SPAL fans that flow 330 CFM each so when you turn these suckers on they almost drown out the sound of the motor. Anyway here are the pics.

Here is the size comparison between the stock unit and the Gords Unit.

Yeah I didn't like the one that came with the unit either but this was the best spot for it that I could find. If I mounted it under the dash I would probably hit it with my leg.

I have been looking on the internet today since I am not happy with how this one looks. The one that came with the unit was even worse

No since the connection is a switchable ground connection. The fans turn on once the relay is grounded.

oh ok so it is simpler than i thought. maybe you could get someone to fabricate a switch if you really dislike it. shouldn't be too expensive

the only problem i see after your KB is what are you going to do after that? you are going to have to install JATO once you get use to it.

LOL But seriously I have to build up the rear next. I have already ordered MJ's diff girdle brace. I have to then order some Level 5 DSS halfshafts and put new bushings everywhere in the rear. Then a new input and output shaft on the tranny. New flywheel and clutch for 26 spline inputshaft. And the list goes on and on. It's expensive to have a 10sec daily driven street car.

Oh and I am also talking to Tim about putting a 5.0 Billet and forged stroker motor in sometime this summer

Oh almost forgot I have to get a stupid roll cage too

Cause it would actually be cheaper to keep the IRS since I would have to get a new catback and misc parts to do the swap. Plus I love the handling of the IRS. It's much better than the GT
