Got $1500 to spend...

gears and x pipe and the 5 spd conversion...

the headswap does give you more power, and there are nothing wrong with autos... but

a 5 spd car is WAY more fun.... the 5 spd swap was at the top of my to do list, until i got stupid and bought rims instead  so now i need tires, and then a new tranny lol

yeah...just i really want a 5-speed..dont really know what to do...

well as being a fellow owner of the slowest v8 mustang since before87.. i can tell you dont mess around, get gears (see sig)... it helped soo much more than i could have possibly expected, the car is a blast to drive now even with the slushbox auto..

thanks...just wish i had that 5-speed....i work for jc's autobody and salvage so i could swap it over to a 5-speed...can get all year make and model motors...just about anything.....trying to figure out what to do...

If you could get another auto, and put a bit of $ into it, I think you'll be pretty impressed with how much better it is than the stocker. With a good converter and harder shifts, an auto can be real contender at the track. It would be a heck of a lot easier than converting yours to a 5 spd.

it skips second gear and goes to third, if you manually shift to second it slips like a **** it just all of a sudden did it...what gives?

I would guess your intermediate one way clutch is done. I'm thinking its time for a new tranny. :(
