Got a few birthday pennies - Strut brace or LCAs?

I have 150 to spend at partshopper. I think they can get anything Steeda for sure. I have the rest of the bolt ons and will be ditching my chip for a dyno tuned SCT XCal2 in the next month or so.

So I'm thinking STB or LCAs. Which one makes the most difference?? Maybe something else entirely??

Anything that affects the motor would be nice since I have a dyno tune soon, but I've got most stuff. Cant really afford cams. My car is a summer driver that will eventually get blown. I'm not a drag racer.

Both are good mods since you have a convert. But I think the LCA's are a better choice.

Go for the LCAs and get the one with poly/spherical if you can afford it.

Even though you have a vert, the LCA will make more of a difference.

agreed, LCA arms will make a bigger differnece over the STB.

My vote goes to LCA

I must say that my Maximum Motorsports LCA's are SWEET!!! but I can't think of any LCA's at $150 that will be worth it. I think I'd hang on to the $150, save up another $150 and purchase a sweet set of LCA's from MM, or get the strut tower brace, though I've been told they don't do anything. (I'm not taking mine off though no flexy-flexy for me)

I was leaning toward the LCAs since I already have decent subframe connectors that really stiffened things. The Pro3is look good too.

Whats involved in the install? (I'm going searching now)

It isn't that bad of an install job. A second body, set of jacks, long prybar, and a good set of deep sockets are really all you need. Just hope your bolts aren't frozen

well I got the MM XD LCA's and they made no difference in my 60' times, made the car vibrate, and increased road noise. Although the handling is greatly improved.
If your not a drag racer I'd go with the steeda AL lca's.

Go with some LCA's. I don't think you can really go wrong with MM, Steeda, or any other reputable company

install is cake... single deep socket (think 20mm) 18mm standard and pop off the chasis end... axle end is smaller on both ends... and just a fllor jack to relieve pressure of the springs so you dont lose a hand when it oops loose. maybe 45 min job... the real pain in the ass is getting the axle to rotate back to where it needs to be to connect to the LCAs... arg.

oh, and ultra grease the bushings so they dont spread when you are pushing it into the chasis mount.
