My is finally about to start, but I have this small little problem. I previously posted about putting together the engine harness on the car. I got that all done now.

The problem now is that I had purchased an engine harness from ebay for the 95 GT, and it had one small defect, a cut wire near the pcm connector. Its a pink wire, that seems cut and is coming off of another pink wire. I can't seem to find a missing slot in the pcm connector and no other half of the cut wire. Can anyone look into their pcm connector harness to see where this pink wire goes to?

Here are some pics of the situation:

This could be the gayest thread title ever!

But seriously the only all pink wire going to that harness is for the spout and should go to pin #38. Check to see if that spot on the harness is open.

Now that I think about it. You may be right about the gayest title!! LOL
I will check it tomorrow. The weird thing is that it splices off a pink wire that is connected to the pcm connector. Like a hybrid plant.

I misread the thread title at first.

If someone had used a stand-alone ignition curving device, the SPOUT wire gets interrupted (though most do it at the SPOUT connector itself).

I have a cut wire at the PCM! When I connected it, the car ran like ****! Never tried to figure out why.
Mine is pink/yellow though.
Strange!

Joe, Pink/yel (Pin 54) is your WOT relay energization input. I cannot think of a reason why the car would run like crap when connected (if we are talking about the same one).

I do recall us talkin about that wire/issue on your car a year or two ago.

If it was your SPOUT wire (what I was mentioning in my last post and now you are mentioning), you would be running at locked out timing. You can also check SPOUT voltage. It's generally around 1/2 to 2/3 of battery voltage (it's not constant).

my timing is not locked, so I guess I can say its not that one. Maybe ford just put an extra pink one down there

my cable ended up being from the vehicle speed sensor vss +. But its connected to the pcm connector. This is a small wire that comes off of it, don't know its purpose.
