I dont know how much attention anyone pays to any of my posts. But I got out the Navy about six months ago. After turning down several jobs in Chicago, D.C., New York, and a few other places. I finally was able to land the job I wanted in my area. I got a job as a biomedical technician. I maintain and repair kidney dialysis machines. It's a cake job. I work with some of the nicest people I have ever met. The best part about the job is I make my own schedule. I can go in when I want. As long as I work eight hours when I get there. I manage two clinics about 20 miles apart from each other. I get paid for the mileage from clinic to clinic. They pay my cell phone bill. I get 24 days of vacation my first year. And I make some very good money. Honestly I work in a stress free enviroment. Everyone in the Navy always says "choose your rate, choose your fate". Well I'm glad I chose Electronic Technician. I think I'll retire from this job.
