Damn, 27 over, that beats my personal best (knock on wood). $440 is a little steep though, mine for 23 over was $175.

best thing to do is go to court man. Believe me I know, my hometown is in Columbia and the state troopers (on 20) don't play around. If you go to court they should cut the price in half. They might give you a break as far as the points go. I had a ticket for 250 and 4 points and ending up payin 125 and only lost 2 points. Good luck.

I got a ticket for 105 in a 55 in a little town called Sparta, Georgia. I got a lawyer and all I had to do was pay the fine and it didn't go on my record.

you should have an option to take a driving school to get the ticket removed... but you'd still pay all the fees, the ticket, the class, but no insurance increast... so, just call a lawyer and get their opinion...

Hmmm.... I got a ticket in my 85 Corolla for doing 91 in a 70, construction zone. $307, but I got on deferred judication, and as long as I didn't get another ticket for 6 months, it wouldn't go on the record. I didn't get one, so all was cool, except now the government has $307 more of MY money. But that's here in Texas, I don't know what it's like there. Hope it works out for you.

where in exton could you hit 142?! i didn't think any of the roads had that much room, let alone being empty enough to try it.

anyway, that sucks man. i would take it court, and ask for a reduced ticket. i'd be more concerned about the points than the cash. offer to take a drivers training course.

here where i live we have youthful offender, and option of driving schoold worth a shot

tell him he didn't actually clock your car. I beat a radar ticket once b/c he was far off, and the furhter a radar beam travels the wider it gets, and will pickup diff. cars, do some research, and judge approx. how far you were, all you have to do if provide reasonable doubt.

Take it to court I just got one 3 days ago $179 53 in a 30 mile zone taked to two of my cop friends they say take it to court the should reduce the fine and no pionts. Un fortunatly they don't work in the same area where i got the ticket so the can't do much for me. Just take it to court if your lucky the cop won't show up if not pleed no contest. they will reduce the fine and no points at least thats what they told me. South Florida tho don't know if thats what they will do for you. good luck.

I have heard from several people officers and non alike that alot of police's are told not to pruse a sports bike doing over 120 becasue it's so easy for them to run and they won't catch up.

Also my frist ticket was 92 in a 45...47over and i got a $320 ticket and 1 point which i took traffic school for...i was lucky that one of the officers talked the other out of impounding my car and arresting me...I had (6-8 squad cars behind me i counted 6 people that drove by told me 8) anywaise i have faught tickets and won and for you i think thats the only way to go, hope the cop dosen't show up and make your life easy.
