Do you have a friend at a garage... see if he will write up a fony bill checking for spiratic Speedometer operation... have home also write that he lubed the speedo cable. Thats how I got out of a ticket once...

mine after i got it dropped to 5 over was still 200 bucks

i was pissed cause a guy charged with breaking and entering got the same fine and no jailtime just before my turn

I paid 165 for doing 65 on a 55. Actually 115+50 for getting it deferred and took proof of insurance if not i would have had to pay for that too. This is in TX though

I can't believe you guys on the motorcycles stopped. If I am tripleing the speed limit there is now way in hell I am stopping.

120 in a 55, in my 95 buick skylard 4 door with a 4 cyl and 3 speed tranny. Paid 125, had to go to court, got sentenced to 60 hours community service, but got paid for it (60 bucks) and had the ticket erased from my record. Beat that.
Also, ususally you can take a class or something that will decrease your points. sometimes even online.

the courts want your money again and again and again so they'll plea it down to a lesser offense so that way you'll screw up again and they can get more of your money.unless of course you driving record is already tainted. good luck.
