In my haynes it says the intake manifold vaccum? Where is that? I rented the tool from autozone to try to figure out what is wrong with my car. Someone please post a pic ASAP or something

I believe you pull the red hose off and stick the tester hose where it was connected

i looked, and saw no red hose. Theres a BIG one coming off the intake, before the TB, but the one with the kit is too small for that one. I couldnt find that Red one your talking about.

I just unplug the FPR line and use it....the or your kit should have an adapter that's cone shaped...slap that on the gage line and push it into the FPR line....nice and snug fit..

Or Tee off the vac port.

Be careful if using lines near the EGR - vac on the EGR line could accidentally be tapped and it is controlled with a solenoid.

Good luck.

Yeah, you probably don't want to disconnect anything during testing. My tester came with a tee so you just insert it wherever you want and it won't interupt any vac lines.

I need to check mine. The stang started running funny yesterday afternoon, and my surging idle came back (my tps is off though, it's 1.17 at idle, I need to adjust it back down) and it was running a little slower. It seemed to be tunning good again today except for the idle.
