I didn't buy a kit like you did, but you want to run the black wire from battery - to the quad shock mount. Then the red wire from battery + the fuse box in the engine compartment. You'll also need another negaitve cable to go from the engine to the frame infront. I went from the engine to where the front sway bar mounts. Good luck
