hey guy got my car running with the t-5 in it.....let me say..HOLY CRAP!!! in second gear if i nail it at about 2500 rpm its all about smoking the tires and rpms jumping to 6500 rpm...... my god its so much faster!!!!

anyways, here are my questions:

1. i cant find the plugs for the nuetral safety swich under the dash, sio i had to start the car by using a screwdriver on the solonoid.......it worked....

can i use an aftermarket starter button? what i mean is i will still use the key to turn everything on, just use a button to start it like on honda s2000's

2. i have a upr adjustable clutch quadrant where is the ideal place for the clutch to engage on the pedal?

The plugs should be just to the left of the clutch pedal towards the top. did you put in a new wire harness for your reverse lights and tranny safety switch? I didn't and I forgot that I had to by pass the safety switch (which was no longer there cuz it's in the aod). Had me stumped for two days!! LOL Well at 2am my brian was not thinking to clearly.

yeah, I'm in the process of it too....

how long did it take you? Labor wise?

I want to have the neutral safety switch and the back up light, is that hard to do?

think you made up a .5 off of et?

for kabuki notch - matters what kinda deal you get, me personally I wouldnt pay over a 1000 for it....

I got a deal with a guy, everything with a bad tranny for 400 dollars, I can rebuild a tranny for 300 dollars, that puts me at 700 dollars, need a aftermarket shifter, firewall adjuster, and a new clutch cable

over all its about a 1000 dollar swap

i got my complete set up with everything wich only has like 8,000 miles on it for 500 bucks.....helps to have hook up and friends that total thier cars.....sux though too!

it took me and 3 friends about 8 hours to do the swap. the pedal swap was a nightmare. kind of have to persuade some brackets with a pry bar.

my reverse lights dont work yet because i have to modify the harness. my nuetral saftey switch doesnt work either. cant find the damn plugs under the dash. thinking of going with a push button starter that still requires the key.

yeah im active duty military...almost 10 years now....not any mustang shops around here...sux
