Just got back from the machine shop, man i'm psyched. After a long time of trying to decide what to do with my engine (as per what heads to run) i decided to dig out my vintage '69 351 Windsors and get a good valve job done with some stainless valves for good measure. I'll pretty much swear by GT40Ps because i know what they're capable of for a solid budget engine, but i wanted to try something different (at least around here). They've got a pretty extensive port/polish job (according to the guy who did the valves, "you don't see work like this much anymore") and 1.94/1.60 valves.

Sooooo without further delay, here's the pics:

Hello intake valve!

We don't need no stinking CNC porting :D We got old school 40 year old hand porting :D These are going to be ran with a Victor Jr. intake, 650 Holley double pumper and for now an X303 cam, maybe a TFS Stage 1 somewhere down the road. Now i just have to get the block together :notnice:

The work on those heads look awesome! :nice: You are right, you don't see something different besides GT40's or the rest of the name brand heads very much. You will post pictures of progress right? :) Can't wait to see the finished product, good luck!

Absolutely, i just don't know if i can wait to build up a short block or just plunk'em down on my engine with the cam and romp it until it splits :D
