Im a long time member, I do more lurking than posting. This 4th I went to the theater in my 02 f150 (thank god not my 5.0) only to come out to find my speaker wires dangling from my door. They tried to break the passenger lock but only suceeded on the drivers side. They took 2 RF 12's, 500W RF amp, a bottle of booze, and every CD I own. I had my stuff done by a shop so when they went to rip the amp out they took the carpet and all, also tearing a huge gash threw my carpet all the way to the door trim. Dumb ass security guard says it happens all the time, and that he would of dusted for prints but my truck was wet (rain). No prints inside eh? Anyways I'm out about 1200 bucks or so and alot of headache. Moral of this story is don't have anything nice.... I'm sure I'll never get any of my stuff back, and it would probably be in my best interest not to make this claim....

maybe the security guard is in on it! He did say it happens all the time. Don't tell any of your friends it happened. That's how I found my stereo stuff when it got stolen. Some of my friends came up and said hey I heard you got ripped off. Turned out to be friends of my friends that did it. The only other person that knew it happened was the police officer.

I hear you, but I'll say it anyways. No good, POS's need to DIE. We work our tails off to get something, and then some lowlife steals it. Sometimes, what is even worse, is these suburbian kids, that don't have any reason to steal, will do it because they don't want to admit they are what they are. As though it's cool to be a thug. People wonder why I am so mean to the hip-hop culture, because it glorifies this. Anyways, I hope the bastard electrecutes themselves or gets hit by another car while on the way to the fence.

No kidding about the rich thugs. I used to live in a neighborhood where a burgular was shot to death. Kid you not, it was a honor roll student at the University, with well off parents making a lot of money. He was breaking into houses and stealing stuff, I guess as some kind of experement of some kind.

The worse thing is that the Police do next to nothing about it. That's why you can't reley on them... bullets are better. You just have to catch them, which is the hard part.

thats probably the best idea ive heard in a long time.

It so common for a friend of a friend to rip you off. I got 2 dirtbikes stolen that way.

Dont let friends that arnt close see what you have. Hard to do with audio equipment, sucks to hear man.

When my car got broke into several years back I am sure it was the "Hip Hop Culture" that broke in as they threw all my CDs on the seats. They did not care much for Ozzy, AC/DC and the like, they just took my change and my cell phone, not my Music LOL!
