How come people always got to come in and try to knock someone down....I have posted a couple of dyno graphs on here listed my modifications and someone always has to say "well I don't have as many modifications as you do and I made more power". Sick of it

Congrats on your power and your aod at least you want ever miss shift.

:nice: thanks guys for the encouragement. i thought it was a decent number being its an auto and only an 87 oct tune. i think i can prob do better with a custom cam. i was hoping someone would be able to determine by the power curves what i could improve.

I think you have a nice enough combination as it is. Maybe a 75mm TB will add a little more HP if the upper intake is ported to match. You didn't say which intake you're using so it would be nice to know, but the Holley Systemax II would be great for your heads/cam combo.
A higher stall torque converter will help you get up in the powerband earlier. You could ask a tech rep at Edge torque converters which one would be right for your combination. Judging from your dyno graph, I think you'll need one that stalls at about 3500rpm.

i have a tmoss ported upper and lower cobra.(had it checked for vacum to see if it was holding it back any, according to the info it is flowing well) the stall is a 2600 as of right now. i still think a better cam may help. i have the comp cam 274.

Ah I see. The problem is that your AFR 185's far outflow your ported Cobra intake so the intake, together with 70mm TB, is a restriction. Your cam is well matched to the AFR 185's.
I think the simplest way to improve your combo is to get the Holley Systemax II intake, 75mm TB, and go for a higher stall torque converter. The ported Cobra intake and 70mm TB are great on a 302 but probably too restrictive on a 331.

I think it is very good. you would be suprised what 4 octane, and a not-so-safe tune would get you. I would wager a more ragged tune, 91 octane you could be in the 320/350 range.
add a converter that stalls about 900 higher, and a drag suspension, and it'll pull the wheels.

since hp is a dirivitive of torque, your converter will always **** the rear wheel numbers up.

don't listen to the haters, weigh the car, and run it down the dragstrip to get a more accurate #.

fwiw, im putting a 347/aod combo together.
