On my 92 4 banger coupe. I pulled both SETS OF CODES. On the KOEO i got 66 no mass air flow signal and 95 fuel pump circuit problem. And in the KOER set i got 21 coolant temp out of specified range. I also in the KOER test got these two codes 53 throttle position sensor input out of specified range and 65 fuel control system not switching to closed loop. BUT these two codes by my manual dont exist in the KOER state but only in the "C" and "O" test which stands for continuous memory (C) and KOEO (O).But for whatever reason when i did the KOEO test i didnt get these codes.All i got in the KOEO test was what i said above.But code 53 is a code that stays in "C" state but the 65 is only suppose to show in the KOEO test. Any ideas on what to buy or how i can test these parts for the codes i got?peace
well maybe unplug the battery and see if any codes come back..... maybe your getting old codes. The TPS can be checked with a volt meter and using the set screw set it to the right range. I would try this before replacing anything.
