Bought it from www.completeexhaust.com for $327 delivered. Was delivered in three days.

I was originally going to install it myself, but apparently the factory exhaust is made of some kind of kryptonite/titanium alloy from an SR-71. I went at it with a hacksaw like Rush Limbaugh goes at a Oxycontin. It was like the car giggled and said, "Stop! That tickles!" I mean my last date left worse scratches on my back. I couldn't see coughing up the coin for a sawzall I would probably never use again. No one else I know had paid for a sawzall that they would never use again either. Sooo

Forgive me father, for I have sinned...I...I...

"Go on my son..."

I...I...I PAID SOMEONE ELSE TO WORK ON MY CAR!!

.

And it was WORTH IT!

Installed and welded for $75.

It is so sweet! Sounds like what the factory exhaust SHOULD have sounded like. Throaty w/o being rough. Deep but no drone and very little rumble. I'm a 36 y/o professional in a small town so I can't be a hooligan as much anymore (that's what my Road King is for!), so the refined "exotic-sports-car-meets-pony-car" sound is dern near perfect for me. All boys love sound effects, and this is just the shyt! It's like a sound track to a movie that you control! Fairly bitchin' if you ask me!

We did it ourself but I was lucky that my neighbor works at a garage and his manager helped him get my exhaust off with a torch

heh.. I had to hacksaw mine.. Went to a neighbor house. They work on pipes and electric stuff. I saw the passenger side..took me about 45 min! My dad did the driver side and it only took him 15 min and his cut marks are smooth as hell... Not a very fun thing to do but it was worthwhile.. congrats btw What's next? LT? X-pipe?

There was a great flame war about this a few weeks ago. From one of the guys from Magnaflow. You can probably do a search for it. In a nutshell, Magnaflow is upping the MSRP of their products so local muffler shops can mark the price up enough to make a profit. Local shops reportedly couldn't make a profit from the old MSRP. The scheduled markup was supposed to start at the end of this month.

When I ordered, from completeexhaust.com, the site was still listing $299, but said call for special pricing. I called on the off chance I could get em even cheaper. Same price but wanted to know if I read about them from sn. I would call and see if you could get the same price. I'd bet you could if you mentioned stangnet. If you can't, let me know and I'll stop reffering anyone to them. (Yeah, for what ever THAT'S worth)

I installed mine on a 2000GT convertible. Love the sound, but the drone around 2000-2300RPM is unbearable on the hwy. Love it around town though. Do you get any drone on the hwy? Did you install the 15671 as well? I did not weld anything on my system, all bolted clamps. I did some research on the drone, and lots of people recommend to get the Bassani resonators put in. Any thoughts? Any drone?

I used a freaking hand saw that used recip blades.. Thing was maybe 10 inches long.. I layed under the car for a good hr sawing away at that thing. A lot of W-40 and some sore muscles, got that stock exhaust pipe cut. What a pain.. But anything I buy for my car, I do myself. Take more pride in my car and it's mods knowing that I installed them all. Only thing I won't tackle is gear swaps.

Enjoy the new exhaust!
