Man, I was in Memphis ,and live in Byhalia, putting up X-mas lights for my Grandmother in 30 degree weather. Start to go home about dark, my dang battery light is on, every thing looks good under the hood,drive a few miles to my friends house to check it, find burnt wires to my main fuse box. I started checking my ALT and get no volts. Then i cheked for a short and the ALT was grounding out through the main 1 nut connection. The thing cost me $200 at auto "crap" zone, only thing open. Just ranting. But it sux having to chang the fuse link cable cause my ALT went out. Ride Safe!
