Got the baseline dyno done today

And the A/F for those who are interested. You can really see how the EEC dumps in the fuel when it starts to get warm. These were back to back runs and no ventalation over the rad.

That is an excellent torque curve. Notice how the movement of A/F and heat build up didn't have a huge affect on numbers(~5HP). I'd like to know what the cast in name is on the lower intake - rear driver's side. (i.e. "ALCAN", "SAC", "CAE") and waht the part number is off the front.

Hmmm, the plot thickens. I can't get the name as the upper is in the way and my inspection mirror seems to have disappeared. However, the part number is: RF E6SE 9K461 DSA.

Now it's been awhile since I've decoded part numbers, but I know that's a 1986 part (E6) and if I recall, the S is for the T-birds. I'm starting to be annoyed...

The SAC lowers are not quite as consistent (sand cast molds) in quality and minimum core shift as the ALCAN and most CAE intakes (investment cast molds), but you OBVIOUSLY got a good one. I've never seen a stock intake break 300RWTQ.

Hmmm, when I get the new intake installed I may have to reference this thread and sell the stocker.

well, it's not ALL due to the lower, but it obviously works well with your stock parts.

Shhh! You're ruining my marketing gimmick. ;)

baglock1,
did you get that picture of the belt routing?

Couldn't find an actual picture on my harddrive but here's a drawing I made up awhile back. It'll give you the same info.

Of course, that's the smog pump pulley at the lower left and A/C pulley on the lower right that are bypbassed.
