27 days later, she returned home. After waiting for a check from the carwash that wrecked my car, I finally picked her up weds. night. I'm going to get out tomorrow and take some better pictures, the sun is supposed to be out again and should make for a great day to do some driving.

And before you guys flame/yell/scream whatever, it's my car, and I got what I wanted done. And, yes, I do desperately need rims now.

Before:

The wreck:

After:
Added, 03 Cobra Bumper, fogs, ect... 2000 Cobra R hood, 01-04 style side scoops, tinted tail lights and painted the center trunk section.

I love the way it turned out. I wasn't too crazy about the hood at first, but all painted and together I like it. I'll get some rims here in the next few weeks and plan on ordering 4.6 side badges too.

lol...I've just seen people flame others for trying to make a GT look like a Cobra!!!

Umm...I dunno if I posted the wreck on here, I lurk around more than anything on this site. Long story short, The carwash employee was moving my car to get dried and vacuumed, foot slipped off the clutch, Hit the back of a Hummer H2 and nailed the gas instead of the brake driving under the hummer and pushing it about 20 feet forward and turning it sideways.

Just don't put the side snakes on...

Rock the GT side elmblems because thats what it is...... You don't want a Fobra

Anyways the 03 Cobra bumper and Cobra R hood looks great

What type of Cobra r hood did you get?

Looks like you need rims next for Exterior mods.

Well you don't have the cobra badges and such like some of the members here decided to put on.

I see that you are from Houston--you on any of the local boards?

I really dig the rear of the car like that

I'm not usually one for White Mustangs, but that one looks bad ass!

Please, whatever you do, don't go with anything less than 18" in the wheel department and keep them "chrome". The shiney wheels really set the paint off. I'd go with a set chrome Saleens, or '00 Cobra R wheels if it were mine. Or better yet, a nice style aftermarket 5-spoke style rim.

I wouldn't put the cobra emblems on, maybe a 4.6 or something.

Yeah, I'm usually on htownracing.com the most as Blake00GT. look mainly at the Classifieds on westsidemustangs.com and my roommate just started Texashustle.com which is geared more towards pavement racing.

Thanks for the complements and I was thinking more of a Black deep dish wheel.

Another nice Stang falls prey to the "I look like I'm running 4-spare tires" syndrome.

I usually browse the local forums aswell--definitely not a big poster. Which area of town are you in?

If you don't go chrome--go with anything other than a Bullitt rim I've had these black bullitts on for quite some time and wish I would have went with the FR500s as they aren't as common.

I call dibs on your stock rims as they are light (not sure about the chrome part though?) You ever make it out to the 6/Westheimer meet?

You should also put a shorter antenna on the car

Haven't been out there yet. We do one in Spring on Fridays, 2920 and 45. Good turn out with out the burn outs and drinking and stuff. I was being nosie on Htown looking if I recognized and of your posts. You were out at Fatal for their dyno day on the 5th right? With Jason's huge burnout.... I was there all day, don't know if I had me ya out there or not.

Yep---I was out there. If you were there all day, I am sure you happened to see me and the girl. Infact--Gumz' burnout resulted in my girl getting a bit upset with me since it got burnt rubber all on her white shirt

I believe she was the only redhead out there.

I remember you guys now. She was in her Rodeo best!!

I didn't have my car done at the time so I was just watching. They built the 92 I had a few years ago. Good friends with all those guys.

Yeah--that was her. Crazy girl to say the least.

The dyno operator seemed like a cool guy, however I don't even know his name. Did you happen to see the red fox that looked beat up throw down amazing numbers? Car was quieter than my prochamber/magnaflow car when putting it on the rollers.

Some deep dish chrome Mach 1 wheels would look good.
