The 30pt maf transfer converter that comes with the twEECer software sucks. What is everybody else using to convert a 9pt flowsheet (Pro-M) into a 30pt curve that the PCM can read?

Grady I didn't see any information on this on your website.

Several ways to get a curve.

If you got the ProM cal sheet you can use the following to convert:

1) I've used EEC Editor by Paul Booth...Don't know if it is around anymore
2) A spread sheet used to be available on the yahoo site
3) EEC Analyzer

You can find generic curves within the Tweecer software that will be very close.

I see noobies ask all of the time on the eectuning site and they always seem to get help with their curves.

Have you seen this stuff? It explains the conversion process in detail.

Thanks Grady, I had read that page before, unfortunately Paul's program or site or whatever is no longer in existence. I don't have spreadsheet either. I'll check out EEC Analyzer. I downloaded it last night onto my home computer (I'm at work right now), but didn't get the chance to look at it yet. I'll let you know what I find.

In caledit v1.20b3, the 9 to 30 converter gives credit to Paul Booth, so it may be the same thing as what is in EEC Editor. I used this initially, and had no troubles. I have also used EA, and it works too. EA is nice, because you can setup what voltages you want to use for your 30 points. I use 0 as the lowest, then the next is 0.5, then from that to 2, I only step by 0.1. I want to keep the steps smaller in the meat of the driving range and idle. Then above 2, I space the steps out a bit more.

Make sure your lowest voltage point is 0 and the largest is 15.9998. Make the second largest 5.

There are Excel programs for that. Check the Tweecer yahoo group for the file. I thought I saw one there last.

Okay, I'm trying to use EEC Analyzer, but it's asking for .NET framework, so I'm downloading it. But I'd like to find CalEdit 1.20, anybody know where I can find it? I looked at twEECer's website, the yahoo support site and a few other places, nobody has it.

That is great to know.

I've got it somewhere myself.

Let me say a thing or two about the V1.20 software.

First of all Rick and I were talking the other night and he told me that Glover has taken V1.20 off the Tweecer sales site. Having said this, you may want to get a copy and put it aside as it looks like it is gonna be harder to find as time goes on.

I'm not gonna go into all of the details of why as I and others like Rick have laid it all out on this site and the Tweecer site as well but I like the V1.20 and have stayed with it due to the feedback I've seen from many of the V1.30 users.

No version is perfect so you pick your own version of poison
