I did the Granada swap a few years ago and there is an awful rattle everytime I hit a bump in the road. I was wondering if there were anti rattle clips that maybe I forgot to put in? If so can someone show me a picture of what these may look like.

Thanks,

Mike

There is a ssmall spring clip that goes on the trailing edge of the inner pad. Also the tabs on the outer pad must be bent tightly toward the caliper to keep them from rattling.

See my "how to" section at www.discbrakeswap.com. The install guide includes pics showing proper pad install.

Dennis,
It would be helpful if you added a link to the "how-to" section of your web site on the home page.

Thanks!

It's there on the left hand frame (twice, in fact). Thanks anyway.

Actually it's not on the home page. It takes some time to find it.

Thanks again for great prices on great products!!!

BTW what is that greenish finish on the calipers?

Right you are. That's funny, I never view the homepage. I view the catalog page as home. I will eventually revise. I have been looking for someone to help redo my website and add merchant services, but have been unsuccessful.

The green coating is a Zinc/Chromate electroplate for galvanic protection. It is intended to protect the whole piece, even if scraped off in places. You can see this coating on many modern calipers.
