i just did the granada disc brakes swap on my 66 coupe. i have a rattle coming from the pass side caliper or something that i can not figure out. going over a bump it rattles like crazy but pushing on the brakes it goes away. everything looks good to me but i'm lost? anyone have an idea?

I would first check your anti-rattle clips and the "lock screw" things that hold the caliper. I don't know the correct terms as you can see. I did the granada swap on the '65 so I know what they look like!!! Big help huh? It sounds to me like you have a loose caliper and when brakes are applied, the pressure holds the caliper still. It could be a couple things though. Make sure to check the bearings and lug nuts for proper torque.

the outboard pad is loose on the caliper. Bend the tabs that fold over the caliper to get a tighter fit, rattle should go away. That is, assuming the anti-rattle clips are installed correctly.

Do they sell anti rattle clips seperately or do they come installed on the brake pads?

this is exactly your problem. there are tabs on the pads that need to bent over the caliper ears.

One on each side of the car on the outboard pad IIRC.
Toward the rear so when the brake is applied the pad is seated toward the front already.
