Hi Gang.

I am wondering if there any upgraded brakes for Granada spindle and braked cars?

Like larger rotor, and multi piston calipers. I currently have crossdrilled and slotted rotors for my granada setup, but like my with horsepower desire, I want MORE HAHA

Thanks in advance

for those who care.... From Baer Brakes.

Granada spindles are treated (basically the same) as 70s and up spindles....

So yes we have a kit that works

So, are you saying that if we have Granada setup on the car, we can throw it out and put on a Baer Kit?

Us granada spindles owners can use the Baer system 13" rotor, with 2 piston PBR calipers they supply the hub, bearings and everything (even a plastic master), (but it works with 15/16" dual mastercylinders) around 1000 bucks though, but that's a big BRAKE system in my books
"basically the cobra brake system, but works on the granada spindles)

bye bye, 11" granada rotor....

If you want to stay with smaller wheels and the 11" rotors, the 99 - 04 Mustang V6 and GT PBR dual-piston calipers can be adapted on to the Granada spindles pretty easily.

cheers

Fast Ed, Can you provide specifics of how the SN-95 rotors can be adapted to the granada spindles?

Oh there's an old thread on here.

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=396702&highlight=pbr+calipers

There's a link on there for how to make your own brackets for Granada spindles and PBR calipers. You should have a welder and a drill press (a decent chop saw would help too).

www.woodyg.com/fairlane/finfo/discs66.html

There's a direct link to the web site.

Also I believe Mustang Steve has a kit for '70 drum spindles that's much less expensive than the big brake companies.
