I am putting my Granada brakes back together and I have question. When putting the caliper back on there is 2 inch long piece of metal the wedges in between the caliper and spindle and has a screw that holds it down. Now with that piece of metal there is another thin piece of metal that flares at the end almost like in the shape of you a "u." I cannot remember how that goes back in. Can someone post a closeup of this or possibly explain it to me.

Also, the pad in that puts pressure on the back of the rotor, does that have to cover over the reservoir looking area in the caliper?? I have never worked with disc brakes before so any help would be appreciated.

The Strip of metal is actually a spring that keeps tension on the caliper. the tabs face the caliper bracket and the arc pushes against the caliper. I couldn't find an easy way to do this. maybe someone else?
